Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time. Our meeting will begin at 11:00am. (Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating). THIS LUNCHEON WILL BE FOR “MEMBERS ONLY” PLEASE WEAR A MASK UPON ENTERING THE RAMADA & UNTIL YOU ENTER OUR CONFERENCE ROOM LUNCHEON COST: $18. The luncheon is FREE to LAST YEAR’S paid members. If you paid $25 to join this year, you will have to pay $18 for the luncheon. All attendees must contact Susie Marshall to confirm their reservation. If your lunch is FREE, email Susie at [email protected] to reserve your space. Paying members should make their check payable to MANDARIN WOMEN'S CLUB and contact Susie Marshall at 904-885-8952 for mailing instructions. Checks must be received by September 16th. There will be no exceptions. Be sure to note either in your email or on your check if you prefer a Chef’s Salad. MENU Chicken Cordon Bleu Garlic Mashed Potatoes Roasted Seasonal Vegetables Spinach, Feta & Strawberry Salad Rolls and Butter Chocolate Cake Coffee, Ice Tea and Water Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu. If the salad is desired, it must be noted on the reservation email or check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only. “WELCOME BACK” DRINK SPECIAL: You may order a Mimosa, Bloody Mary or White Wine. Tickets can be purchased at the Luncheon for $4 cash per drink. Correct change is appreciated. PROGRAM Welcome back to our fall season kickoff. There will be no program this month. LET’S SOCIALIZE! This meeting will be a “Social” for everyone to get together, visit, and catch up after not seeing each other for many months. We hope that you will be able to attend. You will see old friends and, hopefully, make some new ones. We are looking forward to a busy and fun-filled year! The 2021-2022 Directories are here and can be picked up at the luncheon. Be sure to get yours!

We’re meeting at St. Mary’s Seafood, 11290 Old St. Augustine Road at 11:30 am. Contact Shirley Wright or Anita Owens. Call, email or attend the Planning Meeting with your ideas.
Mah Jongg: September 20 – 12:30pm at Harbor Chase 1st Floor. Limited parking in rear of building. We have space for 16 players. Contact Mary Kay Weis or Ann Dumire or sign up at luncheon. Marathon Bridge: September 28 – 10:30am - Sign up now and play starts September 28 at Cimarrone Golf Club at 10:30 am. Please call Mary Chapman if interested. Cost is $10 for prizes to be paid now and then lunch ordered off menu each month. Play 4th Tuesday of the month from September 2021 through May 2022. Travel: October 1 - Coopers Hawk Winery and Restaurant Wine tasting at 11:00 am. Price is determined by your choice of wine $10.00 or $15.00. Lunch at 12:15 p.m., those wishing to join us for lunch, will meet at 12 noon in the lobby. Carpool at Hobby Lobby at 10:15am and leaving promptly at 10:30am. Riders cost $5.00. We will meet at HarborChase (12350 San Jose Boulevard - park in the back and come through large back gate. Enter the building thru the front.) Please bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. We play with quarters so BE SURE TO BRING 13 QUARTERS. Sign up at the luncheon or contact Bev Severns or Gail Packard. Bridge: Bridge has no chair. Contact Sue Wojtowicz, Activities VP, if interested. Bunco: 1st Wednesday morning Bunco is looking for several players, and 1st Thursday evening is looking for one player. If interested please contact Anita Owens. September luncheon, will also have a signup sheet for members interested in playing bunco, please sign up. Recipe Exchange: HOSTS NEEDED! Looking forward to trying some new recipes this year now that we are all great in the kitchen!? If you would be willing to host an exchange at your house this coming year, please contact Jane Stovall. We meet even months starting in October. |
