Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time.  The Fashion Show will begin at 11:00am.  Lunch will be served at 11:45am and our meeting will begin at 12:45pm.
(Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating) 

LUNCHEON COST:  $17.  Contact Geri Marchiafava at 993-7649 for reservations.  Checks must be received by February 15th.  There will be no exceptions.

Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu. Guests should be advised of this option. If the salad is desired, it must be noted on the reservation check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only.


PROGRAM

​It’s that time of year again! Time for our Annual Fashion Show! It will be held on February 22nd. This year’s sponsor is JCPenney (Avenues) and will showcase their new women’s spring fashions. Eight of our members have volunteered to model two different outfits each, one casual and one dressy. Ms. Carrol, General Manager of JCPenney, will host that day. JCPenney will also be donating some free samples and a door prize. Please note that this year we will begin with the fashion show at 11:00am, eat lunch at 11:45am, and hold our meeting at 12:45pm. Be sure to make your reservation for this exciting and fun program! ​

Other Events this Month

Travel –February 3—Saturday - A day at the Orange Park Kennel Club at 455 Park Ave. in Orange Park. This has become one of the favorite club traditions, one you won’t want to miss! Please arrive at the entrance to the Kennel Club Clubhouse at 11:30am. The required prepaid $14.95 charge includes admission, an excellent lunch, a program and a tip sheet. Spouses and guests are welcome to join us. You must pay by check made out to Mandarin Women’s Club and it must be received by Eleanor Serich no later than January 27, 2018. If you have any questions, please call Eleanor.
 
Antiques –February 9 – we will visit the charming village of St. Marys, Ga. The first stop is the St. Marys Antique Mall and if time allows, Alexander’s Attic, just a ways down the street. Lunch will be in at Lang’s overlooking the water at 12:15. We will leave from the street edge of Kohl’s parking lot promptly at 9:15am. Rider’s share is $9 cash to your driver. Dining Out – February 10 – we’ll meet at 6:30pm to dine at the popular Vito’s Italian Restaurant in the Bartram Oaks Shopping Center at State Rd 13 and Racetrack Rd. It is at the north end of the center, near Compass Bank and Moon Dog. If parking is full, there’s room in the bank parking lot behind the bank. Vito’s phone is 429-3868. Movie Mania – February 13 -- will be at the Regal Theater. Sign up sheets will be at the luncheon. Please be sure to include your email or phone number so that Toby Richmond can let you know the movie and showtime. Suggestions are welcome! Any questions or suggestions, please contact Toby.

Recipe Exchange – February 14 -- will be hosted at the home of Cathy Rickert from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The theme will be “High Tea”. Cathy will provide drinks and dessert. Cost is $2.00. Please bring your recipe to share and a container to take home leftovers. Please sign up at the luncheon or contact Cathy.
