Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time. Our meeting will begin at 11:00am. 
(Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating).

LUNCHEON COST:  $25.  All attendees must confirm their reservation by mailing their check to Jo-Ellen Baxley. Make your check payable to MANDARIN WOMEN’S CLUB and contact Jo-Ellen at 904-635-8722 for mailing instructions.
  Checks must be received by January 18th.  There will be no exceptions.
Be sure to note on your check if you prefer a Chef’s Salad.

Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu.  If the salad is desired, it must be noted on your check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only.

PROGRAM
“Food, Friends, and Football" - Our Speaker is Mia O’Brien. Mia joined 1010XL radio in 2021. She had been a Sports Anchor/Reporter at First Coast News since 2018. She co-hosts XLPrimetime Monday-Friday from 12:00-3:00 pm. She also co-hosts Helmets & Heels on Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Calling all football fans! We want you! Here’s hoping that your favorite team is having a good season. We are inviting everyone to show their team spirit by wearing your favorite team shirt, or team colors. You can choose an NFL team, or if you prefer you can choose your favorite college team. It should be a great time. Come out and join us and show your team pride!

Other Events this Month

Movie Mania: January 9 -  Come join us for “The Fabelmans”. This movie is a drama with a running time of 2 hours 30 minutes. Loosely based on Steven Spielberg's childhood growing up in post-World War II era Arizona from age seven to eighteen. A young man named Sammy Fabelman discovers a shattering family secret and explores how the power of movies helps us see the truth about each other and ourselves. Lunch will be at Dolce’s Pizza at 11:30 am. Movie will be at HarborChase theatre, 3rd Floor at 1:00 pm. Any questions, contact Andrea Braun.

Antiquing: January 12 - We will be visiting Fernandina Beach, a cute little beach town that everyone loves. We will meet at Hobby Lobby at 8:45am leaving at 9:00am sharp. We will shop along Centre Street where you’ll find antique stores, restaurants and ice cream shops. Riders share is $10.00 per person. If you did not sign up at the December luncheon, contact Sue Wojtowicz regarding availibility.

Dining Out/Singles & Couples: January 13 - Saturday, 5:30pm - Enza’s Italian Restaurant, 10601 San Jose Boulevard, Suite 109, Jacksonville, FL 32257. Website: www.enza’s.net    If you did not sign up at the December luncheon, contact Mary Shell regarding availibilty. 

Mangia Mama’s:  January 19 - 11:30am - We will be going to Aunt Kate’s Restaurant, 612 Euclid Avenue, St. Augustine. It is an excellent seafood restaurant that has won an award for their awesome fried shrimp. We will meet at Hobby Lobby and carpool to the restaurant. We will meet at 10:30 am. and will have lunch at 11:30 am. The share ride is $10.00. Looking forward to starting the new year with our wonderful ladies. Night Train/Singles & Couples: January 26 – 6:30pm - HarborChase (12350 San Jose Boulevard).  Mark your calendar for the last Friday of each month (except December). This is Mexican Train, and we will be happy to teach beginners.  Park in the back and check in at the front desk. We play with quarters, so please come prepared with $3.25 in quarters. Bring your own non-alcoholic beverage and snacks.  Sign up at the luncheon or contact Gail Packard as we need a headcount for HarborChase.  BE SURE TO BRING 13 QUARTERS.
