             JANUARY LUNCHEON

January 25, 2018
Ramada Inn


Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time. Our meeting will begin at 11:00am. (Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating)
LUNCHEON COST:  $17.  Contact Geri Marchiafava at 993-7649 for reservations.  Checks must be received by January 18th.  There will be no exceptions.

 
 
MENU
Chicken Parmesan with Basil Marinara
Classic Caesar Salad
Sauteed Baby Spinach
Buttered Fettucine
Carrot Cake
Coffee, Ice Tea and Water 

Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu. Guests should be advised of this option. If the salad is desired, it must be noted on the reservation check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only.


PROGRAM

​Our January Program features singer and ukulele musician, Kalani Rose. Kalani will perform a variety of songs, including “Oldies” from the 60’s and 70’s. Additionally, members who wish to participate can play, “Guess that Song”. Small prizes will be given out to winners.
This Program guarantees lots of laughs and fun for all who attend. Come hear Kalani’s beautiful voice and ukulele.

Other Events this Month


Travel
– January 5– (Registration is closed) Twenty two ladies will be heading to St. Augustine to see the “Dressing Downton” Exhibit. Our reservation time is 10:00am. Tickets have been purchased. Upon arrival, we will be greeted by a docent who will give us a brief overview of the exhibit and will guide us through it. More details to come regarding travel, parking, and lunch. If you have any questions, please contact Alice Soberay. 

Movie Mania – January 9 – We will meet at the Regal Theater on Philips Hwy for the early afternoon movie. Hostess of the month will pick the movie, and an email will be sent out with meeting time, and the name and time of the movie. Please sign up at the luncheon or contact Toby Richmond.

Antiques – January 12 – we’ll be doing one of our most looked forward to trips, the Beach Blvd. thrift shops. We’ll start with our favorites near St. Johns Bluff and then head east to some new ones. We’ll end at Carrabbas in Jacksonville Beach for lunch. Does it sound like a fun day? That’s because it will be! We will leave from Hobby Lobby promptly at 9:30am. Mangia Mamas – January 19 – we will travel up San Jose Blvd. to University Blvd. where we will dine at the delightful café Comfort. A Southern Bistro, which is located at 2777 W University Blvd. behind Publix. We will leave from Hobby Lobby promptly at 12:15. Rider’s share will be $3 cash to your driver.
