NOTICE: Drop off time for donated items is 10am
Someone will be at the meeting room door to receive your items. Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time. Our meeting will begin at 11:00am. (Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating). LUNCHEON COST: $25. All attendees must confirm their reservation by mailing their check to Jo-Ellen Baxley. Make your check payable to MANDARIN WOMEN’S CLUB and contact Jo-Ellen at 904-635-8722 for mailing instructions. Checks must be received by December 7th. There will be no exceptions. Be sure to note on your check if you prefer a Chef’s Salad. MENU Classic Caesar salad with Parmesan Cheese Stuffed Chicken Florentine Sauteed Spinach with Lemon Zest Squash Casserole Rolls and Butter Lemon Meringue Pie Coffee, Ice Tea and Water Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu. If the salad is desired, it must be noted on your check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only. PROGRAM It is that time of year again. Time for our annual Holiday Chance Drawing. We hope that everyone who attends brings 1 or 2 gifts. The more gifts, the more chances there are to win! Some suggestions for gifts: holiday decorations, wine, glasses, baskets with a theme of goodies, plants, napkins and tablecloth, crafts, jewelry, gift cards, candles, pillows, dish towels, serving pieces, etc. No recycled gifts please! If you are bringing a home-made delicacy, please include the ingredients. This activity serves as a fundraiser for the club. You purchase a sheet of 25 tickets for $10 (CASH ONLY). You put the tickets in baskets by the gifts that you are interested in WINNING. There is also a 26th ticket that gives you a chance to win $100 in a special drawing!!! Other Events this MonthRecipe Exchange: December 13 – Recipe Exchange will be hosted by Linda Peacock at 11:30am. The theme is “Christmas Memories”. Each person will bring a dish based on the theme. The host supplies dessert and drinks. Don’t forget to bring $2.00 and containers to take home leftovers. And come with an appetite! For more information, contact Linda Peacock.
Holiday Social at HarborChase Friday, December 8th @ 5pm and Saturday, December 16th @ 5pm We have planned a wonderful holiday, 5 course, celebration dinner to ring in the holidays. The menu will include a Caesar Salad, Lobster Bisque, Grilled Scallop Appetizer, Surf and Turf of Fillet Mignon and Lobster Tail, and a Cheesecake Dessert to complete the feast. Also included will be a glass of Champagne for a holiday toast! Wine and cocktails will be available for private purchase. The cost for this holiday feast is $55 per person.
