Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time and our meeting will begin at 11:00am. (Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating). LUNCHEON COST: $25. All attendees must contact Barbara Metallo to confirm their reservation. Make your check payable to MANDARIN WOMEN’S CLUB and contact Barbara for mailing instructions. Checks must be received by November 10th. There will be no exceptions. Be sure to note on your check if you prefer a Chef’s Salad. BUFFET MENU Turkey w/Gravy & Stuffing Southern Green Beans Complete Salad Bar Rolls and Butter Cookies Coffee, Ice Tea and Water Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu. If the salad is desired, it must be noted on the reservation email or check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only. PROGRAM Our program this month is chair dancing with Kim Marsh. She is a certified Direct Support Professional and Home Health Aide. She has created her business to offer a more unique service to the community. Kim has designed energetic chair dance classes. She has choreographed dance moves to timeless music to encourage movement and singing along, while also enhancing flexibility, mood, and functional skills. Wear your workout clothes and get ready to have some fun! ***** Socials – Christmas Lunch or Dinner ***** Christmas Luncheon on December 11th and Christmas Dinner on December 6th and 13th. The price is $60 for a 5-course meal at HarborChase. The signup sheets will be at the luncheon. A check must be included with your reservation but will not be cashed until November. Continental Rummy: November 26 – 10am - meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 10am to approx. 1:30pm at Burger Barn (Durbin Pavilion on Race Track Road). The game is easy to learn, played as an individual (not pairs) tables of 3-8. There is both luck of the cards and some strategy involved. Participants should bring $1.80 in dimes. Night Train: November 28 (the day after Thanksgiving) – 6:30pm - at HarborChase (12350 San Jose Boulevard). Mark your calendar for the last Friday of each month (except December). This is Mexican Train and we will be happy to teach beginners. Park in the back and check in at the front desk. We play with quarters, so please come prepared with $3.25 in quarters.
