JUNE - JULY - AUGUST

The Club does not meet for lunch during the summer months, but there are still plenty of events for active members.  Members enjoy Bunco, Continental Rummy, Mah Jongg, Mexican Train, Movie Mania, and other activities.  If you want to participate in these activities, please complete and submit the Membership Form.

 
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
 
Remember to renew your membership for the 2026-2027 club year which begins June 1st. Renew as soon as possible so you won't miss out on any activities during the summer months, and you will be included in the 2026-2027 Directory. The Membership Form was attached to your June Newsletter and is also available here.

Travel & Antiques: June 5 – Planning Meeting for 2026-2027: (date changed) Would you like to be part of next year’s activity planning? Join us June 5, 11:30am, at St. Mary’s Seafood restaurant on Old St. Augustine Road. We will have lunch and brainstorm.  ALL MEMBERS ARE WELCOME. Next activity will be in October.
 
Movie Mania: June 9 – Come join us for our last Movie Mania until JANUARY! “Remarkable Bright Creatures” - Running Time: 1 hr. 53 min. LUNCH: Dolce’s next to HarborChase @ 11:30am, MOVIE: HarborChase 3rd Floor Theatre @ 1:00pm. SYNOPSIS: A widow who works at a local aquarium finds joy again when she forms unlikely bonds with a giant Pacific octopus and a wayward young man who comes to town in search of family. Together, they uncover a mystery that will lead them to a life-changing discovery and restore their sense of wonder. Any questions, contact Toby Richmond.
 
Mah Jongg has two teams on two different dates. Both play at HarborChase.  Mary Kay Weiss is the contact person for Team A. Currently, Team A is unable to accommodate additional players.
 
TEAM A: June 15, July 20, August 17 @ 12:30 PM                     
TEAM B: June 22, July 27, August 24 @ 12:30 PM
 
Team B will continue through the summer months on the 4th Monday of the month. Due to vacations and travel there will be open seats, thereby causing a need for additional players. Team A members who would like more fun-filled days of Mah Jongg are welcome to play on Team B. Please contact Sarah Sallas-Herring by email or text (preferred) regarding your interest to play on Team B.
 
Continental Rummy: June 24, July 22, August 26 - 10:00am on the 4th Wednesday - Panera Bread at 11111 San Jose Boulevard near Michaels. No experience needed (we can teach you). Any number of people can play (no teams). Fun to play and easy to learn. Bring $1.80 in dimes. No outside food/beverages, please. Breakfast is available followed by the lunch menu at 11am.  If you are interested in playing, contact Ann Marie Shields.  Ann Marie will send you a reminder every month.  BE SURE TO BRING 18 DIMES!!!
 
Night Train: June 26, July 31, August 28 - 6:30pm @ HarborChase. Mark your calendar for the last Friday of each month. This is Mexican Train and we will be happy to teach beginners. Park in back and enter the building in the front to check-in. We play with quarters, so please come prepared with $3.25 in quarters. Bring your own non-alcoholic drink and snacks. If you would like to join this fun group, contact Gail Packard.  Gail will send you a reminder every month.  BE SURE TO BRING 13 QUARTERS!!!
 
Marathon Bridge will return in September. 
Dining Out and Recipe Exchange will return in October.
Lunch Bunch will return in November.
