NOTICE: Drop off time for donated items is 10am
Someone will be at the meeting room door to receive your items.
 
Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time. Our meeting will begin at 11:00am.
(Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating).
 
LUNCHEON COST:  $25.  All attendees must contact Barbara Matello to confirm their reservation. Make your check payable to MANDARIN WOMEN’S CLUB and contact Barbara for mailing instructions.
  Checks must be received by December 9th.  There will be no exceptions.
Be sure to note on your check if you prefer a Chef’s Salad.

Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu.  If the salad is desired, it must be noted on the reservation email or check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only.

HOLIDAY SPECIAL – MEMBERS ONLY
It is that time of year again. Time for our annual Holiday Chance Drawing. We hope that everyone that attends brings 1 or 2 gifts. The more gifts, the more chances there are to win! Some suggestions for gifts: holiday decorations, wine, glasses, baskets with a theme of goodies, plants, napkins and tablecloth, crafts, jewelry, gift cards, candles, pillows, dish towels, serving pieces, etc. No recycled gifts please! If you are bringing a home-made recipe, please include the ingredients. This activity serves as a fundraiser for the club. You purchase a sheet of tickets for $10 (CASH ONLY), and it has 25 tickets/chances. You put the tickets in baskets by the gifts that you are interested in WINNING.

The 2024-2025 Directories are here and can be picked up at the luncheon.  Be sure to get yours!  Directories cannot be mailed!

Other Events

Travel: December 6 – 18th Annual Amelia Island Museum of History - Holiday Home Tour – 5 Different Homes. Cost of the tour $35.00. Make checks payable to Barbara Metallo. (Barbara has to purchase tickets by December 4th. Will meet at Hobby Lobby @ 8:30 am. Leave @ 8:45 am. Rideshare cost is $10. Lunch to be determined. Any questions contact Barbara Metallo.
 
Recipe Exchange: December 11 – Get your shot glasses ready! The theme for Recipe Exchange is “shot glasses“, so make something that can be served in a shot glass (or small cup, etc.). We will meet at the home of Debbie Solano, 11394 Mandarin Ridge Lane from 11:30-1:00. Don’t forget to bring $2.00 and containers to take home leftovers. We’ve not tried this before so it should be fun. You can contact Debbie Solano with any questions. 
 
      Holiday Social at HarborChase
       Friday, December 13th @ 5pm                                     and
    Saturday, December 14th @ 5pm
 
We have planned a wonderful holiday 5 course celebration dinner to ring in the holidays. The menu will include a BBQ Bacon-wrapped Shrimp, Lobster Bisque, Grilled Romaine Heart Salad, a main course of either Roasted Cornish Hen, Butter Poached Lobster Tails, or Pan Seared Filet Mignon, and Crème Brulee to complete the feast. Wine and cocktails will be available for private purchase. The cost for this holiday feast is $60 per person.  Please contact Shirley Wright regarding availability. Continental Rummy, on the 4th Wednesday of the month: December cancelled due to holiday. January 22 we will meet at 10:00am at the Burger Barn, 475 Durbin Pavilion Drive, Suite 103, St Johns, FL 32259. This is in the Durbin Pavilion shopping center on Race Track Road @ Bartram Park Boulevard. Burger Barn is near the movie theater. The game is easy to learn, played as an individual (not pairs) tables of 3-6. There is both luck of the cards and some strategy involved. Participants should bring $1.60 in dimes.
