Doors open at 10:30am for check-in/social time. Our meeting will begin at 11:00am.
(Please do not arrive any earlier as the room will not be ready for seating). LUNCHEON COST: $25. All attendees must contact Barbara Matello to confirm their reservation. Make your check payable to MANDARIN WOMEN’S CLUB and contact Barbara for mailing instructions. Checks must be received by February 17th. There will be no exceptions. Be sure to note on your check if you prefer a Chef’s Salad. BUFFET MENU BBQ Chicken Pulled Pork Baked Beans Cole Slaw Rolls and Butter Key Lime Pie Coffee, Ice Tea and Water Chef’s Salad is offered as an alternative to the menu. If the salad is desired, it must be noted on the reservation email or check. No changes can be made after reservation deadline. NOTE: Salad dressings available are Italian, Light Italian, or Ranch only. PROGRAM Chair Dancing! Our guest this month is Kim Marsh. She is a certified Direct Support Professional and Home Health Aid. She has created her business to offer a more unique service to the community. Kim has designed energetic chair dance classes. She has choreographed dance moves to timeless music to encourage movement and singing along, while also enhancing flexibility, mood, and functional skills. Wear your workout clothes and get ready to have some fun! . |

Movie Mania: February 11 - Come join us for “Big Miracle” - Running Time: 1 hour 47 minutes This movie is an incredible rescue adventure – the amazing true story that inspired the world and captured the hearts of millions. When a family of whales is trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle, a small-town reporter and an animal loving volunteer rally an unlikely coalition of Alaskan natives, oil tycoons and the Russian and American military to set aside their differences and free the whales before it's too late. This is a charming feel-good movie that everyone can enjoy! Lunch will be at Tidbits located 12276 San Jose Blvd (close to Harbor Chase) at 11:30am. Movie will be at HarborChase theatre, 3rd Floor at 1:00pm. Any questions, contact Toby Richmond. Recipe Exchange: February 12 - 11:30am at the home of Debbie Solano. This month’s theme is “turning the tide”. The host will make a dish that will feed a crowd and the attendees will bring dessert. Questions, call Debbie Solano. Mah Jongg has two teams on two different dates. Anyone who would like to sub for either team, please contact the respective chair. TEAM A: February 17, 12:30pm – Mary Kay Weis TEAM B: February 24, 12:30pm – Sarah Salas Herring Mexican Day Train, Team B: February 19 - 10am at HarborChase. Anyone interested in learning to play Mexican Train please contact Peggy LaRocca. We will teach you how to play! Fun game and easy to learn! We play the 3rd Wednesday of each month (excluding December) at HarborChase located on San Jose Boulevard. Marathon Bridge: February 25 - 4th Tuesday each month thru May at 11am at Noura's Cafe. Continental Rummy: February 26 - 10:00am, meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month 10:00am to approximately 1:30 at Burger Barn 475 Durbin Pavilion Drive, Suite 103, St Johns, FL 32259 (Durbin Pavilion on Race Track Road). The game is easy to learn, played as an individual (not pairs), tables of 3-8. There is both luck of the cards and some strategy involved. Participants should bring $1.80 in dimes. Night Train: February 28 – 6:30pm – We play at HarborChase. Mark your calendar for the last Friday of each month. This is Mexican Train, and we are happy to teach beginners. Park in the back and check-in at the front desk. We play with quarters, so please come prepared with $3.25 in quarters. Bring your own non-alcoholic drink and snacks.
