This year the clothes will be provided by The Petunia Patch, www.petuniapatchonline.com, and will be modeled by your friends in the club. Other Events Recipe Exchange: April 8 – 11:30 AM Wednesday at the home of Mary Shell. Our theme this month is breakfast (can you smell candied bacon?). Travel: April 10 - St. Augustine's Trolley Tour. Cost for Trolley will be around $40 for a 90 minute hop on/hop off tour. We will carpool from Hobby Lobby at 10 AM starting our tour at the Old Jail. Movie Mania: April 14 - Come join us for Song Sung Blue (2025), Running Time: 2 hr 12 min, Biography/ Drama. LUNCH: Dolce’s, next to HarborChase, 11:30 AM, MOVIE: HarborChase, 3rd Floor Theatre, 1:00 PM. SYNOPSIS: Lightning and Thunder, a Milwaukee husband and wife Neil Diamond tribute act (Hugh Jackman & Kate Hudson), experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together. Jacksonville Symphony Coffee Series: April 17 - We have a wonderful opportunity to attend the Jacksonville Symphony Coffee Series featuring “Twist and Shout: The Music of the Beatles”. Coffee will be served from 10:00-11:00AM, and the program will run from 11:00AM-12:00PM. The cost is $33.80 per person, we will need a minimum of 10 ladies to attend to secure this price. We can all go to lunch after the performance. Carpooling will be available. If you would like to attend, please respond to Judy Baier to confirm your spot. Also make your check payable to the Mandarins Women’s Club in the amount of $33.80. Mah Jongg currently has two teams on two different dates. Team A: April 20 - 12:30 PM Contact Mary Kay Weis with questions. Team A is not currently able to accommodate additional players. Team B: April 27 - 12:30 PM Meets on the 4th Monday of every month at HarborChase. If you are an experienced player and interested in joining this group, please contact Sarah Sallas-Herring. Continental Rummy: April 22 – 4th Wednesday, 10:00am at a new location!! Panera Bread near Michaels (11111 San Jose Boulevard). No experience needed (we can teach you). Any number of people can play (no teams). Fun to play and easy to learn. Bring $1.80 in dimes. No outside food/beverages, please. Breakfast is available followed by the lunch menu at 11am. Spread the word if you know anyone else who would like to play. Contact Ann Marie Shields if you would like to play or want more info. Night Train: April 24 - 6:30pm at HarborChase. Mark your calendar for the last Friday of each month. This is Mexican Train, and we are happy to teach beginners. Park in the back and check-in at the front desk.
