We welcome Ju’Coby Pittman, President and CEO of the Clara White Mission, to our January Luncheon. Clara White Mission has one of the most fascinating stories of all non-profit organizations in Jacksonville and is the oldest local non-profit. The organization was officially launched in 1904 by its founder, Dr. Clara English White, who would feed hungry people in her neighborhood in the 1880s. Today the mission is still committed to preventing hunger, plus homelessness through advocacy, housing, job training and employment. The program helps everyone, from the homeless and veterans to students and children.
You will enjoy hearing Ms. Pittman speak about the fascinating history and commitment to those who need help in Jacksonville.
